How it all happened
The Adventures of Aya follows the journey of a child named Aya as she ventures across different destinations.
Dubai was Aya’s third destination after Iceland and Kenya.
From hot air balloon rides, to desert experiences, glamping by the water and kayaking, spending time with a friend on the beach and then with animals up-close and personal.
The Concept | An organic, unscripted and relatable experience
The adventures of Aya in Dubai was filmed organically over a period of 25 days, documenting Aya’s various experiences in over 30 locations including the following:

The Campaign
The content filmed during the adventures of Aya was edited into a series of short vertical form snackable content of high cinematic quality, what we like to call “Gourmet Snackable”. It was also edited into the fourth episode of Adventures of Aya, a 4 minute hero experience travel film: The Adventures of Aya in Dubai.
The entire content was used to launch the social media platforms of Whereisthis as follows:
- Short form vertical reels were posted over the period of two weeks inviting people to guess the various locations and growing awareness about the Adventures of Aya
- On 30th of January 2023, the full film was released
