Join Whereisthis on a three-week road trip across Namibia, where they witness a sunrise from the sky, explore magnificent canyons, shipwrecks, ghost towns, and the magic of the rusty red desert landscape teeming with wildlife.
This story captures the raw emotions experienced in the diverse desert climate as the team conquers challenges together, meets resourceful locals, and discovers the rugged beauty of a country that leaves a lasting mark on the soul.
The Campaign
The campaign has been edited into 9 episodes, and features a series of images, stories, and epic behind-the-scenes footage. It aims to raise awareness across the GCC and Middle East about this breathtaking African country. Africa is a premier travel destination, and Namibia offers travelers the chance to experience natural beauty, wildlife, dreamy landscapes, and a rich cultural tapestry.
Together with Wilderness, Whereisthis takes viewers on a riveting journey to experience four decades of conservation and luxury hospitality at various Wilderness lodges in Namibia. This ongoing partnership with Wilderness aims to promote this world-class destination and invites viewers to participate in a giveaway campaign, where two lucky people will get the chance to experience this iconic country at one of the spectacular Wilderness lodges.

Terms and Conditions
- This Giveaway Competition is open to participants from any country.
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
- By participating in this competition, Participants will be deemed to have read and agreed to the present Terms and Condition.
- From the start of the competition and for a period of approximately 3 weeks, Whereisthis will be posting a series of episodes on its Instagram platform @whereisthisofficial, showcasing the recent journey of some of its community members across Namibia, including their stay at various Wilderness camps.
- During the same period, Whereisthis will also be posting photos and stories.
- In the captions of such episodes, photos and stories, participants will be invited to perform ALL of the following tasks:
- Following @whereisthisofficial as well as @wearewilderness on Instagram
- Liking and sharing the posts on their stories and tagging @whereisthisofficial and @wearewilderness
- Commenting on the posts by tagging up to 20 different people you directly know. Each tag = One additional draw Ticket
- Tagging accounts you don’t know or companies or doing any sort of spamming will lead to immediate disqualification
- Important: The more tags, the more tickets! Participants will be allocated one ticket for each single person they tag, and can repeat the same for each new Namibia Post, hence maximizing their chances of winning the Prize. HOWEVER do not tag people you don’t know or spam accounts or you will be immediately disqualified.
- Participants are encouraged to opt to stay notified of any new post or story as Whereisthis may, during the Competition, do pop quizzes with chances to receive additional draw tickets.
- At the end of the Competition, and within no later than one week, Whereisthis will enter all draw ticket numbers into a number randomizer and the winner will be revealed.
- The total estimated value of the Giveaway Prize is USD 19,000 or AED AED 69,750
- One Participant will win, based on a draw at the end of the competition.
- The winner may bring a second person on his/her Namibia adventure
- The winner and his/her guest will share one room.
- The prize includes:
- An all-expenses-paid 7 day stay at one or more of the Wilderness camps in Namibia, subject to availability and flight routes within Namibia. https://www.wildernessdestinations.com/africa/namibia
- All regular activities organized by the camps are included
- All meals and drinks are included, except alcoholic beverages
- Spa treatments are not included in the prize.
- Economy class return flights, to Namibia from any country in the Middle East and/or GCC will be included.
- Winners must use the prize within 2 years from the date it is awarded.
- The stay must be during the low or mid-season only.
- If winners wish to extend their stay beyond the 7-day period, it will be at their own expense.
- If winners are flying in from a country outside the Middle East or GCC, they will need to cover the cost of their flight to the Middle East or GCC in order to board their flight to Namibia
- The Prize is subject to availability and flight routes within Namibia.
- Winners must book their stay in advance and coordinate with Wilderness for available dates.
The prize cannot be redeemed during peak season periods.
- The prize is only transferable if approved by Wilderness and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.
- The Organizers are not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from the acceptance or use of the prize.
- This includes consequential or indirect losses.
- Winners are responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documents, including passports and visas, as well as travel and medical insurance as required.
- By accepting the prize, winners agree to participate in any promotional activities or publicity related to the Giveaway.
- The Organizers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
- The decision of the Organizers in all matters related to the giveaway is final and binding.
